Greenbrier College and the University of Virginia and has taught classes and workshops for the past 34 years. She maintains a studio and is an active member and exhibitor in the McGuffy Art Center located in Charlottesville. She has an eye for dramatic compositions that are filled with surprise and energy, and her use and application of color washes are innovative and captivating. She has held many solo shows and her paintings hang in collections around the world.
Shimmering Meadows is an affiliate of The Art League School, located in Alexandria. Students will paint from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost for the workshop is $165 and beverages will be provided. Contact Carol Vogel at 547-4385 for additional information.
