Joe Rinaldi returns to The Theater at Washington, Va., with his quintet to play an evening of Dixieland jazz on Saturday, May 16 at 8 p.m.
Rinaldi currently performs with the Peabody Jazz Ensemble. Over the years he has played or conducted at the inaugural balls of eight Presidents of the United States. He has performed at the Newport Jazz Festival and made appearances at the New Orleans Mardi Gras. For many years he was the music director for the Washington Gaslight Club where he and his famous Dixieland Combo played regularly. He was also leader of the Foggy Bottom
