Mailbox Improvement Week will be the third week of May. Special flyers will be sent out reminding rural residents to inspect their mailboxes and make any repairs and improvements that may be needed. This may include straightening or realigning the post, painting the box, and repairing or replacing worn flags or hinges.
Well maintained mailboxes make delivering and receiving mail safer for our carriers and our customers.
