.. dinner party at their home on Friday evening in honor of the couple. Approximately 30 friends from New York, Chicago and Boston attended the dinner.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11. Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the community.

Richard Jenkins, Amy Wharton and Amanda of Culpeper were Saturday overnight and Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins.

The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist Church met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Emma Swindler.

Those present were Rev. J Merlin Shorb, Mr. and Mrs. | Nelson Nethers, Mr. and Mrs. | Buck Payne, Mrs. Polly Aylor, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland, Mrs. Phyllis Swindler and Mrs. Kim Kilby.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baldwin and David were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen and Ashleigh in Washington.
