Notice is hereby given that a vacancy will exist on the three member Rappahannock County Welfare Board on November 6, 1998. The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting the interest of citizens of Rappahannock County in serving in this appointed position.
The Rappahannock County Welfare Board oversees the operations and management of the Rappahannock County Department of Social Services and its delivery of services to the citizens of Rappahannock. Welfare Board members are provided reimbursement for mileage, $50.00 per month in salary, and required training. Rappahannock residency is required in order to be considered for appointment.
