uur sincere tnanKs to the instructors for the week: Candice Lamma, Charlotte Nichols, Bill Welch, Kenner Love, Ericka Miller, Mark Williams, Lucy Burnham, Amanda Brown, Vickie Miller, Ceceila Dennis, Edie Falls, Yvette Payne, Chanta Brown, Robin Frye, Ginger Estes, Kathy Smoot, Cheryl Taylor, Patti Want, Sarah Brown, and Shannon Swain. These instructors worked very hard to plan their week long class program and endured, at times, “hot temperatures.”
We would also like to thank the Washington Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us to use their tent which provided needed shelter for activities during the afternoon and Wal-Mart of Culpeper for providing chicken for the closing luncheon with the parents on Friday. Thanks, also, to Jennifer Gray for helping with the luncheon.
During the closing program a ceremony was conducted to dedicate markers made by Frank Zinn of Culpeper for a tree planted in memory of Paul Nichols who worked for years with the day camp program and a rhododendron planted in memory of Mary Beth Williams who was a very
