“We need a new home for our equipment,” said Ellen Pullen. “We are limited in how much we can do because we don’t have more space.”
Pullen is one of the six volunteers who run the Rappahannock Convalescent Loan Closet. Although in continuous operation for 11 years, a lot of people still don’t know about the organization and what it offers the residents of this county.
The loan closet, a non-profit organization, has all manner of sickroom equipment which they make available to county residents for free. They ask only that anyone borrowing equipment come and pick it up at the loan closet and return it after three months. If the equipment is needed for longer than that the person need only notify a member. Now the organization is looking for a new home for its equipment.
