What’s the Big Apple? It may be New York City to some, but in Virginia, it’s locally-produced Red Delicious apples. Big on flavor with a taste everyone loves. Big business because they are grown on more of the Commonwealth's apple trees than any other variety.
Virginia Red Delicious apples are a favorite lunch box treat, quick pickme-up or after-school snack because they are so sweet and juicy. With their crisp texture, they also make a delicious addition to salads and a delightful companion for cheese.
