In the autumn, when breezes were yet balmy, gardeners planned and planted beauty to burst forth next spring on those still chilly mornings when glorious colors would be so welcomed. They bought bulbs of unremarkable appearance and put them in the ground with faith in the promises of the Creator. During the winter, the bulbs transformed.

Similarly, we must cultivate kindness, especially when circumstances are difficult, planting the Word of Cod in our hearts each week as we worship at our chosen church or synagogue. Knowing that as inner love grows we will be transformed and display a beauty of the spirit that shall brighten our days and those of others. This takes a little planning and a lot of planting so begin planning weekly worship now. Spring will be here sooner than you think. "You are Cod's field.” 1 Corinthians 34
