The month of October has been designated RSVP Month by the Association of RSVP Directors. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Programs in our five county area (Planning District 9) are dedicated to the progress in our communities through the power of volunteerism.
Throughout our nation we have put a great emphasis on the “America Reads” program working toward the goal that all children in America learn to read. We will be celebrating “Make a Difference Day” on Oct. 24 through supporting locally the “America Reads”
