One of their biggest avenues of success, has been the weekend trips to Petsmart in Fair Lakes, Va. Want goes on the weekends and hauls between nine and 14 dogs with her. With this venture, Want has had well over 200 dogs adopted this year.
Shelter donations
Christmas is the perfect time to donate something to the shelter. In the past, Petsmart, the high school and individuals have donated money, leashes and dog food. But Want says, “We need blankets and money.”
