Massonava Church held their Christmas program last Sunday evening.

A Christmas program entitled, “His Name is Jesus” was presented by the choir while the young people did the drama at New Salem Baptist Church on Sunday under the direction of Mrs. Diane Liscke.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Miss Nannie Maude Gore, 93, lifetime resident of Reva way area who passed away Friday at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital, with services Monday at Bethel Baptist Church.

Area family members of the Tharp family gathered at the home of Mrs. Gladys T. Williams on Jameson Mill Road on Sunday for their annual Christmas party.

Two more of our area boys deserve congratulations, the Letsen twins, John and David who made the honor roll for the past advisory at Rappahannock High School, where they are eighth grade students.

This writer takes this means to thank each of you who have contributed to this column during the past year and we wish for each and everyone a most blessed Christmas as we celebrate the birthday of our Lord.
