The life estate arrangement is a gift of real estate to Piedmont United Way with you continuing to live there as long as you wish, saving on federal taxes now and probate estate at death.
Life insurance, living trusts, appreciated property, wills and securities are all great gifts to give Piedmont United Way. Gifts made by Dec. 31 are deductible in 1999 and can give you greater tax savings. Please see your professional advisor for the best method of savings for you.
Remember Piedmont United Way is a local community organization using your gifts wisely to help others throughout the year in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. While the economy booms for some, others still need some assistance from you and Piedmont United Way.
