Samuel C. Caldow Sr., 100, of Washington died Sunday, Dec. 19 at VA Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Mr. Caldow Sr. was born in Scotland on Oct. 31, 1899. His parents were the late James and Margaret McCullock Caldow.
He was retired from D.C. Transit System.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Colburn Caldow.
Survivors include a son, Samuel C. Caldow Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Nancy C. Keough of Corolla, N.C.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson-.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Culpeper National Cemetery with honors provided by American Legion & VFW.
