The Culpeper Soil & Water Conservation District (CSWCD) serves the fivecounty area of Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock; it is the largest of the 46 conservation districts in Virginia. It covers an area of 1,445 square miles and serves approximately 91,000 constituents.
Among its many other activities, CSWCD locally administers the Virginia Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMP) Cost-Share Program.
