I was astonished that this 78 year old cousin was keeping up and seemed hardly to sweat.
Probably one-half mile down into the hollow we located the beginnings of a small stream. Was this what was once called Greasy Run, a tributary of Elkwallow River? To the west side of this stream we ran upon the ruins of a chimney, but who had lived here was unknown. Probably another half mile we came upon some piled stones, what appeared to be a spring (house or box) where lay two lengths of iron, and just a little south of this, another chimney ruin.
