The loss of a child is an unbearable grief. It has been the thoughts and prayers of others that have made it more bearable. Recently I reread many of the hundreds of cards and letters you sent to us when Daniel died and was touched again by your prayers and loving concern. I felt you understood our loss and would miss him too. We cannot forget the loving support and your many gifts of support before and during Daniel's funeral. The generous donations to the Rappahanndck High School Athletic Association in Daniel's name would make Daniel proud. I want you all to know how much this has meant to us.
