This is a time of humility and reconciliation by all of us but particularly people like Ms. Pond. If she is a Republican, she might follow the pronouncements of President Bush who has urged healing the wounds of a very close election and urged bipartisan response to the governance of our country.
The right to vote and be counted (one man, one vote) is a sacred measure of our civilization. For sworn testimony on what went on in Florida, one should listen to the hearings being held right now and played on C-Span of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, with testimony from every side of the issue.
