It was wonderful to have the opportunity to visit with Mr. Joe Perine, new RCHS Principal, at the last Principal and Parents’ Advisory Council meeting last week. His wife Judy attended with him. They had just returned form a Forensics’ Competition in Madison County and were very impressed with the RCHS presentations.
In order to get to know the staff and the students at RCHS as quickly as possible, he has been teaching a variety of classes. What a great way to become familiar with our curriculum and school community first hand! Best wishes for a long and successful stay in Rappahannock!
• The next RCHS PAC meeting will be a Brown Bag Luncheon with Mr. Perine from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21. Bring what you would like to eat and drink and relax over lunch during the informal chat with Mr. Perine and other interested parents. Meetings will continue to be held on the third Wednesday of each month, but times will alternate. March will be a luncheon meeting, April’s meeting will be from 67 p.m., May will be a luncheon meeting, and so on. Please stay tuned for more details.
