Most of what they do truly is a volunteer effort. We would all do well to remember that theirs is often a thankless job with very few “perks” and in spite of that they try to complete their tasks to the best of their abilities. You might wish to say “thank you” the next time you have the opportunity to meet a School Board member in the county.
