The Rev. Rosalie Hoddinott, residentiary canon of Christchurch Cathedral in New Zealand, will supply the pulpit at Trinity Episcopal Church for several weeks beginning next Sunday, March 4.
She replaces the Rev. Nigel Mollink, from South Africa. Nigel Mollink and his wife, Wendy, have been delightful guests and inspirations to Trinity Church; we shall miss them.
Rev. Hoddinott was ordained into the Methodist Church of New Zealand and worked as presbyter in a suburban church. She previously trained through Trinity College in Auckland and the College House Institute of Theology in Christchurch.
Four years ago she became a member of the Cathedral staff and serves the church and community in many roles.
Rev. Hoddinott is married to Graeme Hoddinott, who works with a firm of architects. They have been married nearly 38 years, have three daughters and four grandchildren. The congregation and community are looking forward to meeting them.
