Mrs. McClanahan was a homemaker and a member of Warrenton Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Albert McClanahan Jr. of Elk Ridge, Md., Richard Allen McClanahan of Bowie, Md. and G. Bruce McClanahan and his wife Maureen of Warrenton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include four sisters, Audrey Coates of Etlan, Bessie Kinser of Fredericksburg, Laura Barron of Culpeper and Myrtle Chiodo of Oliphant, Pa.
She was predeceased in 1981 by her husband, Albert R. McClanahan Sr.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton with the Rev. Doug Harris officiating. Interment was in Warrenton Cemetery.
