• This coming week is all about International Day, as students, teachers, and parents gear up to celebrate. Almost 15 countries will be represented, as students assemble tables with facts and items from each country on one table and food from that country on another table. The event, slated for-Friday, Nov. 9 begins at noon and runs until 3 p.m.
Students are planning demonstrations of dancing, easy crafts, and at two o’clock, there will be a World Cup Soccer Game between six countries. Bocce will also be attempted (!),' and we hope to have a storyteller.

• WCDS will be hosting its Fall Open HofJse this weekend, on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 1 until 3 p.m. Interested families are invited to attend. Students and teachers will be on hand to give tours, discuss the curriculum, and schedule placement testing for prospective students. Please
