Call to artists

The Middle Street Gallery is accepting artwork for„4heir 2001 Holidays show focusing on the art of gift giving. Submitted work will be juried by gallery members. There will be no entry fee. A 40 percent (30 percent for members) gallery commission will be deducted from all sales. There is no limit to the number of pieces submitted, but gallery space is limited so please keep work small.

The Middle Street Gallery reserves the right to reject any work not meeting its standards. Show opens Nov. 30 and closes Dec. 30 For information and entry form call the Middle Street Gallery at 675-3440 or Steven Kenny at 6752355.

Democrats meet on Tuesday

All Rappahannock County Democrats and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday. Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. The meeting will begin with planning for the upcoming reorganization of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee and its election of new officers. The reorganization caucus will take place during the first week of December: time and place will be determined on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The rest of the meeting will be somewhat more informal with conversation about the election just passed and elections future. The Rappahannock Democrats meet on the first Tuesday of every month.
