Coach Pendleton’s team came ready , willing and able to play RIOT Soccer on a beautiful fall afternoon. Coach Gillis handled the starting line up as RIOT members were eager for the starting whistle. RIOT took off scoring first and set the pace for the game. Orange was denied with any attempt to bring the ball upheld and Keeper Tommy Pendleton denied them anything else.
RIOT coaches moved players around for all of the game giving chances at unfamiliar positions. Much to Orange's surprise, all of the changes kept RIOT in control most of the gam£. At half time Orange was down 0-6. RIOT was pumped and except for a keeper change, second half was much like the first. Orange did score late in the second half but it was way too late for a come back.
RIOT Offense was in prime form and had seven players score eleven goals. Carlos Flores had 4, Larry Oliver had 2, Chris Harris , Andrew Kohler, Patrick Treanor,Tommy Pendleton, and Andrew Treanor each had one goal. Great teamwork by everyone had shots on goal by Paige Lysaght, Josh Makela, Matt Swain, Samantha Harlow, Ellie Dodd-Henze, Tommy Gillis, Gunner Propst and Rhonda Jackson.
Sweeper Ry Wellemeyer was, as always instrumental in keeping any attempts from the visiting team away. RIOT season ended with 6 wins 2 ties and 2 losses. After Sundays game RIOT parents challenged RIOT players to a game,, RIOT Parents 2...RIOT Players 1 GO RIOT
