Colonial dancers in period ball gowns and frock coats will be dancing and swirling to Baroque and Renaissance Chamber music in special candlelight performances in the Tbwn Hall of historic "Little Washington" as one of the highlights of this year’s three day Colonial Christmas Celebration, beginning Friday evening, Dec. 7.
Visitors and residents are welcome to attend the weekend celebration throughout the village, which continues through Sunday, Dec. 9.
Colonial Dancers, who have been practicing for the past few months, will be performing each day, sometimes twice a day.
Another highlight will be daily performances of a 14th century Christmas drama, "The Shepherd's Play" at the Ki Theatre. Members of the Rappahannock community

Jeff Hudson of Sperryville completed the recruit graduation review at the Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, 111. on Oct. 19;
He is joining the U.S. Navy Seabees as a construction mechanic. He is training for 13 weeks at Port Hueneme, Calif.
Hudson is a 2001 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and the son of James and Sheri Hudson of Sperryville.
