Ruth Davis

Ruth Holt Davis, 90, of Amissville died on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

She was bom Feb. 16, 1911 in Norfolk, a daughter of Russell A. Holt and Margaret Holt.

Mrs. Davis was a teacher. She was a member of Amissville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Davis.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Ann Chung of Amissville; a son, Thomas H. Davis of Amissville; one sister, Martha Carpenter of Alexandria; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at Amissville United Methodist Church on Friday, Nov. 2 by the Rev. Karen Adams.

Burial was at Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
