The annual community -Thanksgiving Day service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church
Washington at 10 a.m. ^ Sponsored by First Baptist, Promise Land Baptist, Rappahannock Methodist Charge, Reynolds Memorial Baptist, Washington Baptist and Trinity Episcopal churches, all are invited tp share in this service of prayer and thanksgiving. The Rev. Herbert Johnson will be preaching.
Holiday closings
All county government offices will close at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22 and on Friday, Nov. 23. - Rappahannock Public Schools wtll be closed on Thursday and Friday. * The Rappahannock National Bank and the Rappahannock News will be closed on Thursday and will resume normal business Schedules on Friday.
