Coyotes can also breed with domestic dogs, resulting in a breed that has no fear of humans and may also possess the wild instincts of a Coyote. This makes it very important for farmers and other landowners with Coyotes on their property to make sure their dogs are spayed or neutered. A Coyote may also kill a domestic dog if it has the opportunity. This mixed offspring has created great confusion about whether a real Coyote has been seen.
I occasionally see a Coyote dart across the road while traveling near my Flint Hill home, more often you will hear a Coyote rather than see one. Its howl can be very deceiving due to the way the sound carries, it seems as though it is in one place, but the Coyote is really some place else.
