Get ready for the eighth annual Christmas Tour of Homes in historic Culpeper. This year’s tour features seven homes and two churches on North East Street and East Piedmont Street. The South East Neighborhood Watch sponsors the tour with proceeds contributed to scholarships for Culpeper County High School students. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Dec. 1 from 12 to 5 p.m. For information call 825-8200.
New Year's Eve Gala
The Windmore Foundation for the Arts and Hazel River Inn Restaurant announces its first New Year’s Eve Gala, “Starry Night". Join your friends and neighbors, doors will open at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31 at the Hazel River Inn Restaurant oh Davis Street in Culpeper.
Proceeds from the Gala will support this non-profit organization and the arts programs in the area including Windmore Community Theater, Art in the Park, Children’s Theater Workshop and more. For information call 547-2555.

Crafter's bazaar and sale
The PTO of Epiphany Catholic School is having its annual Christmas Crafter's Bazaar and Bake Sale Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a m. to 2 p.m. at Precious Blood Church. Poinsettias, fresh wreaths, holy bears, and many holiday decorations and gifts will be sold to complete your holiday shopping. Bring your non-perishable food donation to benefit the Culpeper Food Closet and get your picture taken with Santa Claus. Scheduled entertainment includes Christmas carolers and the Precious Blood choirs.
