A good glue is important. There are a wide variety of glues to choose from, but once again you need an archival quality glue with a pll-neutral adhesive.
“Ideally you want a polyvinyl acetate.” Hedges said. “It is an acid free, fast-setting, fully reversible, clear drying and flexible glue. It is expensive but well worth the cost. I like Delta’s photo-safe glue.
“Remember those old photo albums with yellowed tape that no longer holds the photo in place and left a stain on the photograph? You don’t want that.”
Hedges advised not to freak out if you glue something down in the wrong place.
“Rather then get upset, think creatively. There are all kinds of things you can do to get out of a bind,” she said.
“Cover the mistake with a really cool piece of paper and start over on that page. Or paint over an object. If the object is really important, cut it out and
