Her friend gathered all kinds of materials to put in the book: photographs of her father from 6 months to present, expired passports, magazines from college her father contributed to, newspaper articles hailing his work, marketing brochures, and pieces of his projects from over the years.
“My friend requested that the items be returned in the original form, so I went through them and either made color Xeroxes or scanned the items without fear of destroying the originals,” Hedges said.
