We go to the Price Club to get our turkey. When you get it home you have to put all kinds of powder on it to make it fluffy so it won’t be hard to cut. Put plastic over it so it will get reheated. Put the turkey on a pan, then in the oven. Cook it for 15 or 16 minutes for a good turkey, on five degrees. When you get it out of the oven be careful, it’s hot! Always eat your turkey with a fork! When you’re done, wipe your mouth with a napkin.

First you have to go to a farm and kill a turkey with a gun. Bring it home and pull off all the feathers. You clean it by washing it with a sponge and water. I think Mommy cleans it in the sink. Put the turkey on a skillet and cook it on the stove. You have to cook it for maybe like five minutes and on five degrees. When it’s all done, it’s ready to eat! Eat it with a lot of vegetables. When dinner is over you can watch cartoons on TV.

My mom goes to a grocery store in Culpeper to get our turkey. Clean the turkey with just water in the sink. You don’t have to put anything on it before it goes in the pan. The turkey goes in the oven for six minutes on a “hot” temperature. This takes a long time! Then, take it out and eat it. We always go to my Grandma’s on Thanksgiving.
