The good news is that five of the seven cell towers planned for Rappahannock County are now in service with Sprint, according to Rappahannock County Administrator John McCarthy.
Good news, that is, for Sprint cell phone customers.
Many other customers, using Verizon and Cingular, are wondering why their cell phones don’t work and are asking: “Can I even use the towers we have waited so long for, if 1 don’t have Sprint as a provider?”
In a nutshell, as of today, with the technology that has been installed, the surest way of having cell communication within the county is to have Sprint Wireless as the provider.
