ecumenical Thanksgiving Day service will be held at Promise Land Baptist Church on Gid Brown Hollow Road* Route 622 at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 25.
The Rev. Phil Bailey of the Washington Baptist Church will bring the message.
The service is jointly sponsored by Reynolds Baptist, Promise Land Baptist, The Rappahannock Methodist Charge, Washington Baptist, First Baptist of Washington, Trinity Episcopal, and Flint Hill Baptist. The clergy and congregations of these churches will participate and all are invited to join in giving thanks to God on this day.
At 9:15 a.m., coffee and fellowship will be offered in the fellowship hall of Promise Land. Everyone is invited for this interchurch moment.
