For those who have seen a new face in the stands at sporting events lately, let me take a moment to introduce myself.
I am Jeanne Spath, the new sports editor and reporter at the Rappahannock News. My husband, Eric and I moved to Rappahannock County in August when Eric began teaching physical education at Rappahannock County High School and is in his second season as the Varsity wrestling coach.
As for me, I have been a free-lance sportswriter for a newspaper in Augusta County, which is where I am from originally, for the past five years.
When we are not working, Eric and I enjoy hiking, riding our Harley Davidson and spending time with our four children.
