Holiday Open House

Gray Ghost will hold a holiday open house on Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Sunday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy seasonal hors cToeuvres paired with Gray Ghost wines. Collect the tenth in a series of commemorative holiday wine glasses. Admission is $15 for adults; $7 for those under 21 and designated drivers. No reservations needed.

Holiday grief support

Hospice of the Rapidan offers free grief support groups to anyone in the community who has suffered the loss of a loved one, with or without prior hospice affiliation. A workshop entitled “Coping With Grief: Facing the Holidays When You’ve Lost Someone You Love” is forming. It is designed to help people cope with the stressful and emotional situations that can arise during the holidays. The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Hospice of the Rapidan Community Room. Pre-registration is encouraged. The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold a meeting at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the Rappahannock County library.
