Entering the door to the wrestling room at Rappahannock County High School may be a shock to someone who has never seen this sport in action. Some 16 grapplers fill nine circles in the 78-degree room, their bodies contorted in positions most would never imagine.
For the Panthers, they begin their second season under the coaching of three-time AllAmerican Eric Spath who has set high goals for this Rappahannock County team. Third in the Bull Run District. Sixth in Region B. Tenth in the State. He has left this impression upon his team as they form their own personal goals for the season which Spath posts in the Panther wrestling room as a constant reminder.
