PWSFU Permit #01-08-05 Application by Spring PCS to construct a 90’ stealth silo Category 2 facility on property (referred to as “Miller’s Silo”) owned by D. Brooke and Ann Miller on Tax Map 29, Parcel 9, in the Haskell Agricultural and Forestal District, on Lee Highway in Washington, Hampton District. Use allowed and regulated under Article XII, Section 170-108.-1, et seq. of the Rappahannock County Code. This County permit requires that construction begin within one year of the date on which it was issued. The Applicant requests an extension of this period due to the fact that Federal approvals necessary to begin construction have not been received. The sole purpose of the hearing is to consider the merits of the requested extension of the time limit to commence construction, and not to consider the underlying decision to grant the permit. A copy of the foregoing request is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia 22747, in advance thereof. BY: John W. McCarthy Zoning Administrator 11-25,12-02-04 #615860
