• The Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. The BZA will review the newly adopted Comprehensive Plan. • On Thursday, Dec. 2 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street. • The Town of Washington will host a potluck Christmas Party on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. at the Town Hall. All residents and business people of the town are welcome. • The 2004 Comprehensive Plan that was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Nov. 1 is available for purchase at the County Administrator’s Office at 290 Gay Street in Washington. The cost is $30. • The Town of Washington will test fire hydrant pressure over the next three weeks. This may cause a temporary discoloration in the water supply. If so, run the water for a short while and it should dear up. Residents who have questions or concerns may contact the Town Hall at 675-3128.
