Rev. Jennings Hobson has received praise for a job well done from George L. Jones, state coordinator from the office of emergency and energy services. Jones complimented Rev. Hobson for his work as county emergency coordinator during the August flood.
The Rappahannock County Education Association announced on Monday that sixth graders Nancy Proctor and l>avonne Adkins from Rappahannock County High School are winners of the RCEA’s essay contest on “My Idea of a Perfect School.” Winner of the primary grades’ art competition for a drawing of the perfect school is second grader Scott Blevins.
