their book projects. Each was responsible for writing text, designing format and creating illustrations - which ranged from original oil paintings to photographs to collage art. Henry’s writing efforts, “Grimmest Fairy Tales,” revealed a twist on traditional fairy tales and fables. Sara Henry matched her brothers efforts with, “To Write Is Write,” highlighting 10 original poems inspired by her family life.
For brothers Austin and Tyler Burdick the project resulted in a collaborated twovolume series. Austin’s “The Dragon Slayers 1: Sir William Mayton” focused on a ninth century adventures and battles of a medieval knight’s efforts to defend the kingdom’s villages from dragon attacks. Tyler’s “The Dragon Slayer’s II: Conrad Klump” extended the series by focusing on barbarians’ efforts to protect their villages.
