With the way the girls are practicing, they hope to be in good shape for the season. Practices run an hour and a half to two hours every day after school. The team also practices every other Saturday.
One challenge at home is that the girls often have to share the gym with the boys basketball team, so practice space is limited.
“The girls are very dedicated, work hard, and practice. If you work hard enough you should win,” said Dale. “I want the girls to learn to play the game properly so that if they chose to enter a game in college they will know what to do.”
