of Washington subdivision policy which states that each lot can be no smaller than one and one half acres, there was considerable concern in a Nov. 23 Tbwn Council meeting as to how the acreage could conform to the five-acre subdivision policy held within the county.
This concern is due to the boundaries of the property lying partly within the Tbwn of Washington and also in the county.
“Zoning in the county is five acres, but many jurisdictions have high density zoning,” said County Administrator John McCarthy.
