Montessori open house
The historic Belle Meade Schoolhouse in Sperryville is serving its educational purpose with the opening of the Mountain Laurel Montessori Farm School. An open house will be held Sunday, Dec. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. Mountain Laurel offers a dynamic curriculum designed to inspire students, aged 12-15 years, to apply challenging academics to authentic, real-world experiences of farm and community life. Holiday Open House
Gray Ghost will hold a holiday open house on Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Sunday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy seasonal hors d’oeuvres paired with Gray Ghost wines. Collect the tenth in a series of commemorative holiday wine glasses. Admission is $15 for adults; $7 for those under 21 and designated drivers. No reservations needed.
Concert of music
