Roger W. Kiser

Family in Washington

Roger Wayne Kiser, 49, of Rixeyville, died Nov. 26 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.

He was bom August 11, 1955 in Fairfax County to Catherine Byrd Kiser and the late Merril Austin Kiser.

Mr. Kiser was a dedicated employee of Pitney Bowes for 30 years and received numerous awards and certificates. He leaves an extended family at Pitney Bowes and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He had a good sense of humor and loved life, gardening, and growing his house plants. He also loved his two cats, Pretty and Tiddles.

Mr. Kiser is survived by his wife, Betty Hawkins Kiser, and two stepdaughters, April Keister of Culpeper and Crystal Hawkins of Rixeyville.

Additional survivors include his mother, Catherine Kiser of Washington; two sisters, Diane McCuen of Gastonia, N. C., and Lynne Bohrer of Fairfax; a brother, Merril Kiser of Chantilly; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Nov. 30 at Found and Sons Chapel in Culpeper with the Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
