The recent open house in Sperryville was a huge success as people filled Main Street businesses and the feeling of community ran strong.
Many shop owners stopped in to check on each other to see how the open house was going in other establishments. There were also some four-legged visitors, as the llamas from West Wind Farm in Castleton walked down Main Street and one particularly curious llama even went inside the Old Sperryville Bookshop to take a look around.
Bookshop owner Greg Ostinato asked the llama if he would like a copy of the book, “Is Your Mama a Llama?” but did not get a reply. The llamas were in Sperryville all day, where they spent most of their time at the Rescue Squad so that every
