DeBerghs’ subdivision was the first in the town, it turns out not to be so.
On record, the last subdivision was developed on Piedmont Avenue when property was divided into three lots in 1995. Prior to that, in the early 1990s, the LOMP, LynchO’Connell-Morehouse-Parrish
parcel divided almost 10 acres into three lots in the Main Street/Harris Hollow Road area.
