“Advising students who are at turning points in their lives is an awesome responsibility,” said Roger Mello, principal of Rappahannock high school. “Miranda Hope is the type of person who can meet that challenge with compassion and wisdom.”

New partnerhip

The Rappahannock College Access Program (RCAP) is a new partnership between Headwaters and the Rappahannock County Public Schools.

As the RCAP advisor, Hope will work one-on-one with students and their families to help them navigate the process of selecting, applying to, and securing financial aid for attendance at a college or trade school.

“This county has amazing students, parents, and educators,” said Hope when asked about the new position. “It is an honor and a pleasure to be able to serve again in this community that I love.”
