On February 27, the village of Atoka will be the setting for an innovative and exciting Mosby Heritage Area program.
Under the creative direction of Rich Gillespie, MHAA’s new Director of Education, the Grey Ghost Interpretive Group will present a program entitled “Cavaliers, Courage, & Coffee: The Night Belonged to Mosby.”
The program is designed to interpret that moment in time at which Loudoun, Fauquier, Clarke, Warren, and Prince William counties were at the peak of their national attention — the days in 1863-65 — when they were part of Meshy’s Confederacy, the most dangerous, bloody, exciting, and divisive moment in their history.
The Lecture Series is an educational program of the Mosby Heritage Area Association that is offered free to the public.
